Marcus Daly is a pastor and a teacher with a heart for making disciples in the local church. Having walked for over thirty years with the Lord and knowing first-hand the devastating effects of non-discipleship, his heart’s desire is to fulfill the Great Commission and “Make Disciples.” Marcus has been full time in ministry since 1999 and served as an Associate Pastor in educational, youth and children’s ministries and as a lead pastor in KY, NC and now at the Forest Hill Baptist Church in Skippers, VA.
He and his wife, Kathleen, of 21 years have homeschooled their three children for the past fifteen years. Their oldest daughter, Sarah and her husband Jonathan are current students at SEBTS preparing for international missions. Their two younger kids, Mary (16) and Paul (15) are both in high school and active in ministry, both having taken mission trips in the past year as well as being involved in their local church.
Marcus has a B.A. from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in Pineville, KY and a M.A.C.E. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently completing the Ed.D. program at SEBTS. He is a veteran of the US Air Force (1989-1993) and has worked in several different industries through the years including restaurant, shipping, and public utilities. In all of these areas training and teaching were priorities in his work. His prayer is to see the church become an instrument in the hands of our great Savior, to impact our neighborhoods and the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
